The mission of the REIT Network is to bring together Malaysian and international property investors, developers, and industry leaders to foster meaningful connections, share insights, and promote thought leadership in the real estate sector. Our goal is to create an exclusive platform where collaboration and knowledge-sharing drive successful property investment opportunities.
2.1. Membership to the REIT Network is exclusive and by invitation only.
2.2. All membership requests are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors of the REIT Network.
2.3. The Network will maintain a maximum of 50 members at any given time to ensure quality interactions.
2.4. The Board will encourage a diverse membership, representing a broad spectrum of the property and real estate investment community.
2.5. Membership is divided into two categories:
2.6. All Board Members must hold either a Corporate or Individual membership.
2.7. Corporate members may invite up to three additional representatives to REIT Network events, beyond the principal member.
2.8. All members and invited representatives attending events must hold C-Suite or senior leadership roles such as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Director, or Partner.
3.1. Members agree to uphold the rules of the REIT Network and to act with integrity, professionalism, and respect toward all other members.
3.2. Membership fees shall be paid promptly to the Network’s Secretariat. Fees are non-refundable.
3.3. Members with unpaid dues exceeding two (2) months will be automatically suspended from participating in events until payment is regularized.
3.4. If dues remain unpaid for over six (6) months, membership will be automatically cancelled. Former members seeking reinstatement must submit a new application for approval.
4.1. Membership fees are payable by 31st January each year.
4.2. Fees cover the period from January to December annually.
4.3. Fees for the Founder and former President(s) are waived for life.
4.4. Payments can be made via cheque or electronic funds transfer (EFT)
4.5. The Board may review membership fees periodically in a responsible and transparent manner.
5.1. The Secretariat will send an invoice and other relevant documentation to Members in the first two weeks of January every year, as a reminder to the Members to pay their membership fees.
5.2. Renewal of the membership fee payment must be made latest by 31st January of every year.
6.1. Any cancellation of membership shall be in writing, either by the respective Member or an authorised representative of the Member or his/her organisation, by ordinary or registered post, delivered by hand, by courier, or by e-mail.
6.2. Notice of cancellation of membership shall be addressed to the Secretariat, the President or any of the Board Members of the R.E.I.T Network.
6.3. Once the notice of cancellation of membership has been accepted, the former member will be permanently barred from reapplying for membership
